Just finished your coffee and feel like you’re still ready for a nap?
Yep that’s often me too…
And if you’re like me you’re probably trying to push yourself hard both in the gym and outside of it too.
Unfortunately, there is only so far you can push like that before you need to give in and have a rest otherwise you’ll risk injury or running yourself down and getting sick.
When you get to this point the answer isn’t just double up on the coffee and grind through. I know how bad you want to do that too, it’s often how I get through my work weeks.
But I can tell you from experience, the injuries and tanked progress aren’t worth it…
If you feel you need a sleep, DO IT…
I don’t care how cool it is to tell people you’re hustling or grinding through
Everyone who I talk to that carries on about being too busy to stop and rest often spends more time on their phone and pretending to work hard than anyone else.
Sometimes the answer is simply take a nap then get up and keep moving forward.
