What’s Gone Wrong With Fitness… Why We Need Burgers, Beers and Deadlifts

We are in an interesting place right now in life… Even more so in the fitness and health space

More people are embracing fitness than ever…

At the same time more people are mistreating their own bodies with no care for their future selves

Everyone has a gym membership… But the big gyms still have more people paying than turning up

They’re not where the real change is happening…

It’s the little guys that care about their members… Call them when they don’t show up and go that extra mile to make people feel safe, loved and happy

Our Fight

But us little guys are still facing an uphill battle…

Fighting against the elitist fitness world…

Those guys telling you can only eat chicken, rice and broccoli, keto, or paleo

Those super fit looking guys and girls who teach the one thing they know to everybody… Not knowing or caring that there’s more than one way

The fitness industry has taken it way too far

They forgot why most people got into fitness… To help amplify their own life experience

Not to bore themselves to death with rigid diet and training plans

These guru’s push their ideas on people by invoking fear with statements like;

‘Eating sugar is as bad as smoking’

‘Training for over an hour starts eating away at your muscles’

‘Lifting weights will make you bulky’

The problem is these statements feed into our psychology… They give us someone or something to blame for our shortcomings and failures

It’s about time this bullshit changed

Time for a new age in the fitness industry

The leaders are here right now… But they’re getting drowned out in the noise of the rest of the industry

The Newstrength Way

We are striving to make a change…

Teaching people to embrace movement… Growing through learning and being grateful for their relationships and human connection

People don’t need to eat like bodybuilders to be healthy and become their best selves…

We embrace having a burger on the weekends, enjoying a few beers…

The only thing we ask is that you invite a few friends or your partner to enjoy it with you

You can’t enjoy a burger and beers session solo (Ok, ok… we know you can, but trust me it’s way better with loved ones)

That’s what our Burgers, Beers and Deadlifts night is about

Enjoying life with friends and family first… Then it’s about lifting heavy and training hard

Burgers, Beers and Deadlifts

Our next Burgers, Beers and Deadlifts night is coming up soon on May 25th

Remember the lifting is optional, burgers are essential
